Our client is currently seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper On site in Villa Park, CA6 month contract to hireThis job will have the following
Responsibilities:
Previous and recent Restaurant365 (R365) experience is required.
Under limited supervision, the bookkeeper/accountant assists the CEO and VP of Finance in performing multiple duties related to the business and accounting functions of the organization within established deadlines.
Must be able to work efficiently and independently.
Job
Summary:
Prepare monthly financial reports for stores summarizing revenue, labor, and food cost.
Record, and process accounts payable, prepare checks and cash disbursements using Restaurant365.
Ensure completeness and accuracy of vendor data in the accounting system Record daily sales and cash receipts, including daily sales journal entries Perform monthly bank reconciliations and adjusting journal entries.
Prepare and process payroll and deductions schedules including wage garnishments, employment verifications and EDD benefit audits.
Prepare journal entries to record payroll.
Assist onboarding of new team members.
Ability to analyze P&Ls and discuss inquiries with operations.
Perform monthly & quarterly inter-company reconciliations for managed and/or affiliated entities.
Provide core administrative support and other ad hoc tasks daily, including office manager duties such as ordering and organizing supplies, filing, phone calls, etc.
Posting of accounts to the general ledger for:
accounts receivable, cash receipts, accounts payable, cash disbursements and payroll.
Maintain required records, reports, and files in an organized manner.
Work with CPA & owner on all accounting and finance matters.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years general ledger, bookkeeping and accounting experience using R365.
Must be proficient in R365.
Prior experience with ADP Payroll preferred.
Experienced with Microsoft Office (Primarily Word and Excel).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
